 FAQ - Shop Policies

Your order will be delivered to you in either a gift box, tissue paper/organza bag. Larger items will be packaged with tissue paper/bubble wrap. In keeping with my reuse/recycle craft practice I prefer to use as much pre-used and recycled external packaging as possible whilst retaining the need for a level of robustness to ensure your purchase(s) reach you in perfect condition.

If your item is being delivered from Handmade by Isla as a gift, please add this in your comments when you purchase your item(s) and I will withhold any receipt or mention of cost. If you would like a personal message in your gift order, please add this in your comments when you purchase your item(s) and I would be happy to supply this free of charge.

Shipping

Orders are sent via either 1st or 2nd Class UK Standard Royal Mail, whichever you would prefer.
 

Delivery times are estimated but I do strive to send out purchases as quickly possible (usually within 3 working days).

I am also happy to look into insured Royal Mail and/or courier delivery if you would prefer your item to be sent this way - just drop me an email. Unfortunately currently I am unable to ship outwith the UK.

Exchanges and returns

I am happy to accept returns & exchanges but would ask that you contact me within 14 days of delivery / purchase at a selling event and return the item(s) to me within 30 days of delivery / purchase at a selling event.

Please note: Earrings cannot be exchanged for hygiene reasons unless they are damaged or defective on arrival.

Unless the item(s) is faulty, you as the purchaser will be required to arrange and pay for the cost of return. Unfortunately, a full refund will not be provided for returned items that show signs of unreasonable use. Please retain your proof of postage as proof of return in the unlikely event that I do not receive the returned parcel, unfortunately I cannot accept liability for returned goods lost in transit.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving your returned item(s) as detailed above with notification of refund by email or other within the 30 days from receipt of return item.
